Announcement    Seeds for the 2018 planting season: Japanese Indigo, Woad, Weld, , Dyer's Coreopsis (plains), Dyer's Coreopsis (red Dwarf), Yellow Cosmos. Woad, Black Hollyhock test done. Listing soon! .

Welcome! Thank you for visiting my shop!

All my hand dyed clothing, fabrics, yarns and fibers are naturally dyed. The dyes I use are either gathered or grown by me or produced by small producers. Natural dyes don't act like synthetic dyes! Don't expect them to! They all naturally (O.K. pun!) "go together". Naturally dyed textiles and fiber have an inner beauty that synthetic dyes will never be able to emulate.they are never garish, even at their most vivid. They will mellow, age, patina differently than synthetic dyes. This is living color.

Any textile or fabric dyed prior to 1856 was naturally dyed, using plants, animals and minerals.

Anything naturally dyed should be hand washed cold, using mild soap or shampoo, air dried flat. No Dry Cleaning!

If you need a larger quantity of dyed fiber and yarns. Convo me! I'll see what I can do! "Garden Print "Clothing and fabrics are OOAK and subject to growing seasons in Ohio!

A word about Hand wovens and "Repo" clothing (O.K. maybe a few!)

My hand wovens are also one of a kind. I do Saori style weaving. I'll use a variety of yarns, fiber, cloth, whatever, both natural or synthetic.

I'll also use re purposed clothing and fabric to create various things, what ever strikes my fancy at the time. All of these are OOAK. Creatively it's very difficult for me to do custom orders(I have tried! I lock up!)

Colors may vary from monitor to monitor.

I live in a smoke free, cat controlled home.

My passion for color is one of the reasons I became an artist. I've been in the fiber arts about for 10 years. I love being a fiber artist...especially natural dyeing. I hope you like my work...as much as I love doing it!
